IM Karl Burger

(1933--2000), Doctor of Medicine, Retired to Augusta, GA in 1986 after many years in New York, A strong IM with two GM norms, Early chess database expert, Played hundreds of games with Bobby Fischer in his youth. 1993 Georgia State Champion
