EVENT OVERVIEW
Four Rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated.
Two sections: Open (1400+): Open to USCF rated 1400+. Reserve (U1400): Open to USCF rated under 1400 and Unrated. Sections will be assigned based on players’ Regular ratings published on official USCF website. All participants must be registered USCF members. Memberships can be applied for on-site. Membership cost for USCF depends on age ($20-40) and is separate from the registration cost of this tournament.
Prizes: 100% of the proceeds go to the winners. Prizes are based on 40 registrations. Open: 1st place $300, 2nd place $240, 3rd place $144. Reserve: 1st $240, 2nd $180, 3rd $96.
Time Control: 30 minutes per game with 5 sec increment per move, USCF dual-rated (Regular and Quick).

Schedule: Saturday, September 20th, 2025, 10am start. On-site registration ends at 9:45am. All players, including pre-registrants, check in by 9:45am; call/text if going to be late. Rounds: 1st round 10:00am, 2nd round 12:00pm, 3rd round 1:45pm, 4th round 3:30pm.
Byes: 1/2-point bye’s available. Must request before 9:45am. 0-point bye’s available any time for any round.
Equipment: Players are encouraged, but not required, to bring their own chess clocks.
Treat: Complementary lunch (pizza & drinks).
