Live US Chess regular ratings are used for pairings and prizes. Prizes are based on 30 registrations. Unrated players are eligible only for place prizes.
Time Control: G/5; inc. 2; USCF blitz rated. Entry Fee: $25.00 by 7/30; $30.00 by 8/4; $35 at the site;; Free entry for (W)FMs, (W)IMs, (W)GMs - entry fees deducted from prizes. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants. Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 2:00 pm. All players, including pre-registrants, must please check in by 2:45 pm. Rounds: Round 1 starts at 3:00 PM; rounds 2-5 immediately after. The last round should start at approximately 5:30 PM. 1/2-Pt. Byes: Available, limit three. Must request 1/2-point byes before round 1 begins. 0-point byes are available at any time for any round.
