Championship: (FIDE rated) Open to FIDE or US Chess 1900 or higher; $800-$500-$320; U2300: $375-$275; U2100: $300-220.
Amateur: Open to 1600-1999; $640-$360-$260-$200; U1750: $200-$150.
Reserve: Open to 1200-1599; $640-$360-$260-$200; U1450: $200-$150.
Booster: Open to Under 1200 or unrated: $510-$335-$260-$200; U950: $200-$150; Unr. $75.
Time control: all rounds G/90, delay 30 except Two Day Rd 1 Sat. G/60, delay 10.
Rounds:
Three Day: Fri. 7:30 pm; Sat. 2:30 pm & 7:30 pm; Sun. 10:00 am & 3:30 pm.
Two Day: Sat 10:00 am, then same as 3-Day Schedule Rd 2 - 5. (2-Day Rd 1 not FIDE-rated.)
Entry Fee: $100 for GCA members ($110 for non-GCA members), if received by April 17th; $120 after April 17th or at site. (W)IGM, (W)IM Free ($100 deducted from any cash prizes won). Unrated: $50, if received by April 17th; $60 at site, per April Supplement. Re-Entry: $60 NLT 9 AM Saturday (Not available in “Championship” section).
On-site registration:
Friday on-site registration 5 – 7PM; Saturday on-site registration 8 – 9 AM
Byes: 1/2-Point Byes available for all rounds (limit two). Must request all 1/2-Point Byes before Round 2 begins. 0-Pt. Byes may be requested at any time.
All sections: Players (rated 1000 and above) may elect to enter the next higher section provided player’s Official rating is within 100 points of the next higher section’s rating minimum. All player’s “Official Rating” is per the USCF April 2024 Rating Supplement.
All (Awarding of Prizes): If any post-event rating published between 1/2/2022 thru 2/28/2024 was more than 50 points above the section rating maximum, the prize limit is $200. Balance of any limited prize(s) goes to the next player(s) in line.

GCA Adult Membership - $15.00 (USD)/ 1 year
Scholastic Membership - $12.00 (USD)/ 1 year for scholastic players under 18 years of age.
