WHERE: Online at Lichess.org. To complete the registration, we will contact you for confirmation and to provide where on Lichess to meet. Be sure to provide a correct email and phone number. If we cannot reach you, we will have to drop you from the tournament. ENTRIES: Limited to 40 FORMAT: Lichess rated, Game 10, +5, 5 Rounds Swiss Pairings (5 SS), Game 10, +5 adds seconds each move. ENTRY FEE: $15/player, through Friday, January 14, at Midnight; then $20 on Saturday, January 15. No entries on Sunday or Monday. Withdrawals by Friday Midnight have a full refund. After that refunds are limited to $10. BYES: Only half point in round #1, if you arrive late. If you leave and miss a round you receive zero for that round. PRIZES: This is meant to be a fun event with many small prizes. SPORTSMANSHIP: We want to promote the fun of competition and good sportsmanship in this tournament. -- Players who exhibit bad sportsmanship may be penalized at the TD's discretion. Penalties may include forfeit of a game in progress or expulsion from the event Register and Pay by going to www.championshipchess.net and clicking Register/Tournament “MLK 2022.” NOTE: When registering, please enter “LiChess Screen Name” in place of First Name on the form.
