The Georgia Chess Association has an opening for the position of Secretary. Any interested volunteers should please send an email to info@georgiachess.org by October 22, 2013.  Many thanks to Keith Sewell for his dedication and hard work these past several years.

First Place Premier - Richard Francisco

Thad Rogers has been trying to get a team (Atlanta Kings) into the U.S. Chess League for next year. He has talked to almost all our top players and they want to do this. The US Chess League has posted an online poll. It looks like anybody can vote. So, please go to that site and cast your vote in favor of Atlanta getting into the league next year.

Go to http://www.uschessleague.com/ and simply scroll down to "Poll" on lefthand side and cast a vote. So far Atlanta is leading!
