Location: North DeKalb Mall, 2042 Lawrenceville Hwy., Decatur, GA 30033.

1st Round Time: 7:00pm

What: Rated, 3SS, G/30/d5; guaranteed prizes $140; ½ point bye available any round if requested before start of play.

Cash Prizes: Guaranteed Prize$ Premier - 1st $30, 2nd $20, U-1900 $20
Guaranteed Prize$ U-1600 - 1st $25, 2nd $15, U-1300 $15, U-1000/New; Unrated $15 and the U1600 winner gets a free entry into a future Thursday Throwdown Premier Section.
2 SECTIONS: Premier and Under 1600. Must have at least 1500 rating to play up in Premier section or with TD permission. Any unrated player may play in U1600. All players must have Current USCF membership. Any new player, never rated by USCF, can have free entry.

Entry Fee: $10 if paid by Wednesday midnight. Any online registrations made after Wednesday midnight until 6:00pm Thursday to be paired in Round 1, must call Coach Tim 770-633-6718. Note: After 6:00pm, Tim will be in the Mall without phone service. Onsite registrations $12 PAID and CLOSES by 6:45pm. After 6:45pm, expect to take a ½ point bye in the first round.

REGISTER and PAY ONLINE: Go to www.championshipchess.net click "Non-Scholastic Tournament" In the “Tournament Name” field, enter Throwdown #20. In the “Section” field, enter which section you want to play. Current USCF ID# and payment is required to be paired in Round 1.
