April 12th Southeast Junior Chess
Championship
When: Saturday, April 12, 2014, 10:00am-5:30pm
Who: Open to all K-12. All our tournaments are US Chess Federation rated.
Where: Emory University (Cox Hall Ballroom), 569 Asbury Circle, Atlanta, GA
Venue: Cox Hall Ballroom (Cox Hall 3rd Floor). Free Parking at Peavine or Fishburne Parking Deck.
5 Sections: Pre-K-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, HS. Players must play in their grade’s section.
Prizes (In each Section): Trophies to top 5, Team plaque to top School Team, Plus Score Trophies to all who score 2.5 or more, medals to all else.The winner of each section will be the 2014 Southeast Junior Chess Champion for that division.
Schedule: 4 rounds, G/35 d/5. Rounds: 10:30a, 12:00p, 2:00p, 3:30p. 1 bye available. Arrive by 10:00am. No on-site registration.
