Championship Chess 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Classic

Open to any player in grade 12 and below

4SS, G/30 in rounds 1 - 3 and G/4/d5 in round 4 

Rounds: 10:30; 12:15; 2:00; 3:30

4 SECTIONS: 3 rated sections, USCF membership required: Under 600, Under 1000 and Premier.

Players may play up one section if within 100 points of the section. There will be one Unrated Section where players rated below 500 may also play. No memberships required and no rating points received when playing in the Unrated Section.

Advance entry received by Thursday, November 21 pay $20; late registration is $25 until Nov 25. After Nov 25 pay $30. Onsite registrations ok at $35. (At site registration by 9am and you will be paired for round #1. If you register later, then you might get a 1/2 point bye in round #1.)

$65 SPECIAL -- register by November 21st for both K-12 Thanksgiving Classic and Friday November 29th Camp -- online just enter $65 special

1/2 Point Byes available only in rounds 1-3.

Register online at: www.championshipchess.net click “K-12 Tournaments.” Tournament Name: Thanksgiving Classic Current USCF ID# required to be paired for Rd. 1, unless playing in unrated section.

Trophies to all players with a plus score and $100 top prize in the Premier Section. A special team trophy will be awarded to the school with the most points combined in the 3 scholastic rated sections.
