Five rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated.
Two sections:
Open (1400+): Open to USCF rated 1400+.
Reserve (U1400): Open to USCF rated under 1400 and Unrated.
Sections will be assigned based on players Regular ratings published on official USCF website (https://new.uschess.org/player-search). All participants must be registered members of US Chess Federation. Membership can be applied for on-site. Membership cost for USCF depends on age ($20-40) and is separate from the registration cost of this tournament.
Time Control: G/30, increment 0, USCF dual-rated (Regular and Quick).
Schedule: Saturday, November 9th, 2024, 10am start. On-site registration ends at 9:45am. All players, including pre-registrants, check in by 9:45am; call/text if going to be late.
Rounds: 10:00am, 11:15am, 1:00pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm.
Prizes: 100% of proceeds go to winners. Prizes based on 40 registrations. Open: 1st $300, 2nd $240, 3rd $144. Reserve: 1st $240, 2nd $180, 3rd $96.
