CHESS ZONE BUGHOUSE TOURNAMENT

5 rounds, Swiss System, unrated bughouse.

Each round consists of a best 2 of 3 games. Each game is 5 minutes per side. Teams will be paired using normal Swiss system rules. Pairings for round 1 randomly assigned. Each player must register individually. Please specify partner name upon registration; player will be assigned a partner if not specified before round 1.

Prizes (per team): 1st Place – $100; 2nd Place – $80; 3rd Place – $60; 4th Place – $40. Based on 30 registrations.
Time Control: G/5+0
Entry Fee: $20.00 if pre-registered; $25.00 at the site. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants.
Schedule: On-site registration ends at 9:45 AM.
Rounds: 10 AM, 10:45 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:00 PM.
1/2-Pt. Byes: A team may request one 1/2 point bye. Zero-point byes allowed at any time.”
