GCA & Georgia Tech Chess Club Tournament
When: Sunday October 25th
Where: Georgia Tech Student Center 3rd Floor (Map)
What: Georgia Tech is partnering with GCA to revitalize the chess scene here at Georgia Tech.
We’re running the first larger scale tournament here at tech in a very long time!
Format: 4-SS, G/45 time control (1 day schedule)
Sections:
Open: Open to all players
U1400: Open to players rated 1399 or below or unrated/new players
Prizes: Open : $300-200
U1800 : $100
U1600 : $100
U1400 : Trophies
Entry Fee: $30 entry fee for Open section. $20 entry fee for U1400.

Registration deadline: Oct. 24th 11:59pm
$5 more for onsite registration by 11:00AM Oct. 25th

Rounds: Rd 1 at 12:00PM, Rd 2 at 2:00PM, Rd 3 at 4:00PM, Rd 4 at 6:00PM
Half point bye any round, limit one. Must commit when entering. No changes.
