This is an announcement of the upcoming Cajun Chess regional tournament, to be held in Atlanta the weekend of February 19-21, 2016, at the Wyndham Atlanta Galleria. It is a $10,000 Open tournament (based on 200 full-paid entries; top section both USCF & FIDE rated), a Rated Scholastic (on Saturday 2/20), and an Unrated Scholastic (on Sunday, 2/21). This is going to be a homecoming of sorts, as it's been ten years since the last Georgian Peach Open back in 2005. We will be posting full details on our website, cajunchess.com, soon, as well as preparing full advertising for Chess Life & elsewhere.
