Championship Chess 2nd Thursday Throwdown

In 2 Sections: Premier and Under 1600. Must have a rating of at least 1500 to play up in the Premier section.
Any unrated player may play in the Under 1600. All players must have a current USCF membership.

Entry Fee: $10 if paid by Tuesday Jan 1st or pay $12 onsite Pay online @ www.championshipchess.net with your credit card listing player’s name, section, bye if wanted, and USCF ID#, and current rating if ever a member..

When: Thursday January 3rd , 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Round #1 starts 6:30 – Show up late and you lose time on your clock or take a half point bye in round #1
Register on site by 6pm and play round #1, after 6pm and you probably will get a bye in round #1.
SPECIAL $15 to Register by phone by 6:00pm -- Call Tim’s cell 770-633-6718. You can be paired and your clock started.
Free Entry to players joining the US Chess Federation for the 1st time or joining after an absence of 2 years or more.

Under 1600 - 1st $25, 2nd $15, U-1300 $15, U-1000/New Unrated $15
1st place clear on tie breaks in the U1600 gets a free entry into a Premier.
