2 USCF G/15;d5, 4 round swiss, quick-rated tournaments.  USCF membership included!!

Format: Swiss-Style, G/15 (minutes) per side with delay of 5 seconds, 4 rounds, morning and afternoon tournaments.  All Players will play four rounds.

Who: Open to all students in grades K-12

Where: Trinity Church, 2270 Defoor Hills Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30318

Sections: 4, Quick Rated: K-1, K-3, K-5, 6-12; 

*Sections may be combined if there are not enough players in one section.

Time Control: G/15;d5  (15 minutes per player with a 5 second delay).                             

Prizes: Plus score trophies to all who score 2.5 or better.  Place trophies for top 3 scores. USCF membership to all participants, for existing USCF members, their membership will be extended for one more year.  

Entry fee: $35 for one session, or $45 for both sessions!  FREE to Trinity and Trinity outreach players with online registration!  Onsite registration: $50 for one session, $60 for two sessions on day of the event (as space allows).   

Registration: Discount registration until  midnight Thursday Oct 12th. Onsite registration 7:30-8am, October 14th, for AM Rounds and 11-12PM for PM Rounds. Volunteers have free registration for their child for both rounds. Trinity Members and Trinity Outreach players may have 25 free registrations (total)

Schedule: 

Quickstart AM: 9 am for Round 1, ASAP for rounds 2-4.  Awards Ceremony follows.

Quickstart PM: 1 pm for Round 1, ASAP for rounds 2-4.  Awards Ceremony follows.

It is the parent's responsibility to arrive early enough to verify that the information is correct or to have errors fixed before pairings are up for the first round.

Byes: A player may miss one round (take a bye) if arranged in advance with their registration, however rounds begin asap after the previous round making it difficult to predict exactly when rounds 2-4 begin. All byes will be zero point byes. Players must commit to playing at least three rounds.

SIMUL: Simultaneous exhibition conducted by NM Albert Liang.  Donations may be given towards Trinity Chess classes.

Volunteers should expect to serve for both sessions.  Your children may be registered for either or both sessions that day.  Lunch and refreshments provided.
