5 Rounds Swiss System In Six Sections:
Master/Expert (FIDE-rated) Section: (Open to USCF or FIDE-rated 1950 and above)
$500 – $300 - $200, Under 2200: $400 - $200 - $100
Class “A” Section: (Open to USCF-rated 1600 thru 1999) -- $400 - $200 – $100
Class “B” Section: (Open to USCF-rated 1400 thru 1799) -- $400 - $200 – $100
Class “C” Section: (Open to USCF-rated 1200 thru 1599) -- $400 - $200 – $100
Class “D” Section: (Open to USCF-rated Under 1399 or Unrated) -- $300 - $150 – $100
Class “E” Section: (Open to USCF-rated Under 1199 or Unrated) -- $300 - $150 – $100
Players may play up one section except Masters/Expert is strictly for 1950 plus!
Time controls: Master/Expert – “40/90, SD/30, d5” Other sections – “G/120, d5”
All sections -- Two-day Schedule, Round 1 “G/90, d5”
3-day schedule: Reg. ends Fri 7:00pm; Rds. Fri 7:30pm; Sat 2:30pm, 7:30pm; Sun 10am, 3:00pm.
2-day schedule: Reg. ends Sat 10am; Rds. 10:30am, then merges with 3-day schedule.
Entry fee: $74 (3-day), $73 (2-day) if received by Oct. 26; $79 at site. UNRATED $40. (W)GMs, (W)IMs free.
Re-entry: $35 (not available in Championship). Half-point
Byes: Available all rounds (limit two), must
request before Round One (no changes afterwards). Sat., 10:30am round is not FIDE-rated (FIDE rules
apply).
FIDE-Only: Rule 6.7a. “A player who arrives at the board more than 30 min. late shall lose the game.”
