Scholastic Chess Tournament by Thanu - CHOA fundraiser

Venue and Time

Come and join us on Jan 2nd 2016 at Ocee Library on Saturday 11AM to 5PM for a chess tournament! We will have 4 Rounds, Unrated and we will start our first round @11AM and time control will be 30 mins. with 5 sec delay.

Play with scholastic players in GA, and play in a Simul with great top rated players, Thanu Avirneni, Sanjay Ghatti, Kapish Potula, Samhitha Dasari

Mission and Vision

The Mission and Vision of this tournament fundraising event to donate funds to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Aflac Cancer Center(100% all proceeds will be donated to Children’s Healthcare).

Items to Bring

Please bring your chess board, clock, pencil, Annotation book.

Come and join us and let’s have some fun while learning new tactics, opening, end games etc. and also supporting to a great cause.

Registration Fee’s

Registration fee’s is $20 (Cash or Check mailed to our home address 7084 Bell toll CT, Johns Creek GA - As we are conducting tournament in Library this is a requirement) We have also setup a PayPal account if you wish to pay through PayPal, Please send us an email: s_avirneni@yahoo.com, We will send an email with request to send money.

Onsite registration is available until 10:30 AM.

Accommodation at Library

We can accommodate Max 25-30 kids so We will register the players on first come first serve basis
